PRODUCT UPDATES

What's new in Colecione.

Changes that make your collection easier to organize, explore, and share β€” in plain language.

Last updated October 1, 2026

Move items to another collection without starting over πŸ“¦

In the Home list, tap "Select", pick the items you want, even from different pages, and use "Move to…" to send them to another collection. For a single item, change its collection right when editing it. Photos, filled-in fields, and history come along, and the destination collection's fields stay the same.

Everything closer at hand, and a quick way to share your opinion πŸ’¬

On your phone, Insights now sits in the bottom bar, and What's new moved to the menu under your picture, with a badge when there's something new. Home now has shortcuts to Achievements and Insights. Every so often, a small strip asks how Colecione is working for you: one tap on a face is enough. And error screens now have a link to tell us what happened.

Shared links now come with a preview πŸ”—

When you send your collection link on WhatsApp, it now shows who shared it and how many items it has. Inside the link, every item has its own address: you can send a specific item, and your phone's back button returns to the collection just as you left it.

Forgot your password? Now you can reset it πŸ”‘

The sign-in screen now has a "Forgot your password?" link. Enter your account email, get a link that's valid for 1 hour, and pick a new password. If you sign in with Google, GitHub, or Discord, keep using that provider's button β€” those accounts have no password.

Colecione now speaks English 🌍

Choose Brazilian Portuguese or English on the home page, when you sign up, or in your profile. Your choice is saved to your account and browser, and your items and collections stay exactly as you entered them.

A fresh look for Colecione ✨

We've refreshed Colecione throughout the app to make exploring and managing your collection more enjoyable.

The same immersive look, everywhere ✨

Item forms and details, collection settings, Insights, AI, and feedback now share the same immersive design. You can also add fields while creating an item, take its photo straight from your camera, and share an item's details through a public link without revealing anything private.

Clearer collection actions πŸ”’

The Delete button stays in the same place for collections that still have items, but it's now locked, with a clear explanation of how to unlock it. Empty collections can be deleted as usual.

Your profile and achievements come to life πŸ†

Your profile now organizes your account details and shortcuts more clearly. Achievements get a more immersive design, clearer progress, redesigned cards, and a special animation when you open the page. Both are still in the same dashboard menu.

More room for your collection ✨

The dashboard and Collections page have a new look: clearer navigation, gallery and list views, a Favorites filter, item cards you can click anywhere, and covers made from your own photos. Your Wishlist now appears as its own collection, and creating a collection takes two simple steps.

Open items in a new tab

Item cards are now real links. Ctrl-click (Cmd-click on Mac) or middle-click a card to open it in a new tab β€” handy for reviewing several items at once. A regular click still opens the item right next to your list.

Cleaner item cards

Items you own no longer show a redundant status badge on cards, lists, details, or public links. Each item's collection is still shown, and statuses that matter, like Wishlist, Lent out, and Reading, still appear.

A tidier toolbar on mobile 🧰

In collections with a Series view, the Share button used to drop onto a second line on its own. On phones, search now spans the full width, view options sit right below it, and Share has a fixed spot at the top of the screen. Nothing changes on desktop.

Card buttons fit on mobile πŸ“±

On phones, the Delete button on item cards was getting cut off. On smaller screens, Edit and Delete now show just their icons, side by side and easy to tap. The labels come back on wider screens.

Faster to open and get around ⚑

Screens now show a placeholder while they load instead of freezing on slow connections. Heavier features like Magic Add, the ISBN scanner, and Insights charts load only when you use them, and search no longer flickers as you type. If something fails to load, you'll see a friendly screen with a Try again button.
